Quite a Green Kayseri
In the last nine years, 2 million 900 thousand m² green area
has been created in Kayseri. So, the total amount of green area
has reached 3.5 million m². The pavements and the sidewalks on the
main arteries and
streets have been adorned with trees, grass and flowers. |

Fair Culture Park
The 150 .000m² promenade area in the Fair has been arranged
and put into the service of the townsmen. Being visited
approximately by 50 thousand
people, there is an awe-inspiring giant aesthetic waterfall,
100 camellias with barbecue areas, a car park for 300 cars, 2
playgrounds and 2 basketball pitches in the Fair Culture Park. |

With an aesthetic waterfall,
playgrounds and quite a green environment, The Fair Culture Park
hosts thousands of people every day. |

The Mimarsinan Park
Being the largest park in Kayseri, the arrangement works
started in 1986, but it couldn’t be finished for a long time.
However, the park is in service of the townsmen now. Having an
area of approximately 150 000m²,the park contains two 4 000-m²
pools, an amphitheatre, 300 sets of benches and playgrounds.

The Ahmet Yesevi Park
Placed in a 15 000 m² area, the park contains walking paths,
camellias, a car park for 25 cars, a graded pool, a playground and
a basketball pitch.
The park, which appeals to the people of the Zümrüt and Hodja
Ahmet Yesevi parishes, is visited a lot- especially at the hot
summer nights.

20 New Parks in a Year
20 New parks in different sizes -10 in Kocasinan and 10 in
Melikgazi Regions- have been arranged and put into service in one
year. This means that a 300
000 m² area has been added to the green places where people
can walk and relax almost in every parish. |

Old Parks Have Been Rearranged
One of the biggest parks in the city, the Gültepe Park and the
İnönü Park have been rearranged. Gaining a new appearance, the
parks, which are
visited during the summer a lot, have, now, basketball pitches,
walking paths, a miniature grass football pitch, camellias and
playgrounds. |

Hundred Thousands of Trees Every Year
Hundred thousands of trees have
been planted in different places of the city in the Tree Feast
activities held by the Metropolitan Municipality. Gratis trees
have been delivered to the townsmen. |

Notification Boards
In order to built up the environmental consciousness and to
protect the green frame, sunflower and Teddy Bear figured
notification boards were placed in the green places and in the
Parks. |
