Approximately 10 000 people are served warm meal from the 10
refectories belonging to the municipalities. Daily 20 000 bread
is served out freely. Besides these aids, people who get help
from these refectories are given- from time to time- other maintenance
food and firewood.

Ziya Gökalp Refectory
(for the Poor)
Every day, warm meal and bread are delivered pproximately to
1 200 families living in this region. |

Gazi Osman Pasha-Yunusemre Refectory
(for the Poor)
Refectory has started to serve the poor people living in Gaziosmanpasha,
Yavuzlar and Yunusemre Parishes.
Approximately 1 000 people are given warm meal and bread daily.
Besides this refectory, Eskişehir Bağları and Sancaktepe refectories
have been put into service for the poor people living in these
areas. |

Health Units
In 15 Health Units located in the suburbs of the city, the poor
people are inspected for free of charge. Their medicine is provided
gratis also. |

Apron Aid to the Students in Need
As a part of social municipality
understanding, the Metropolitan Municipality has delivered aprons
to the 5 000 students needing an apron throughout Kayseri. Özhaseki,
the Mayor, dressed the students attending Sadiye Nuhoğlu Primary
School. |

The Alms-house Site
Having the same comfort as a 5-star hotel, the alms-house
Construction, which contains two-people bedrooms, rest halls,
indoor and outdoor gardens and a waterfall, has been put into
service. Our Slogan is "Olds are our Insurance."
The capacity of the alms-house is up to 500 people in total
and the elderly people staying at the house lead a peaceful
life. |
